Diamante Exclusive Touch Up Process:

Upon Move in and in the very unlikely event of an emergency, any issues related to the new home’s construction will be resolved and remedied immediately.

During the first 30 days after move-in, the buyer will create a new touch-up list (if necessary) and at the end of this period, the builder will fix any issues.

After the new home has gone through its first four seasons and the house has begun to settle permanently, the builder will send a contractor to repair and paint and/or drywall touch-ups. The contractor is at the buyers disposal for two full work days for unlimited fixes to paint and drywall.

Diamante Exclusive Warranty Process:

1 Year Craftsmanship Warranty- This is analogous to an automobile’s “bumper-to-bumper” warranty, meaning that all builder-installed fixtures and appliances are covered for performance and workmanship for one year.

2 Year Systems Warranty- This warranty ensures that all major systems such as Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical and Appliances are covered for proper delivery of service.

10 Year HBW Major Structural Warranty- The new home is covered until year 10 by an insurance policy that covers all warrantable repairs. In the event any major repairs were needed (such as foundation cracks, pool leaks or framing sags, etc.) the insurance company HBW will contract all repairs. HBW strictly screens all builders wishing to purchase this type of policy, and Diamante Custom Homes is pleased to offer this exceptional policy to its customers.

Diamante Custom Homes has discovered the benefits of the clash detection process during preconstruction. Seeing these conflicts ahead of time and preemptively fixing them is critical to a smooth installation once the project is underway.

When we hear the word “clash,” we think about plans that do not align with the physical construction of a home.  Identifying and fixing these issues ahead of time has been one of the best uses of today’s modern technology.  This low-hanging fruit can easily save a project hundreds of thousands of dollars and weeks of wasted time waiting for drawings to be corrected or improvisation in the field.  (We have calculated the average cost of a clash at $17,000 – we have seen hundreds of professionally drawn plans and all have had one clash or another!)

Energy Star seems to be the latest buzz word!

At Diamante Custom Homes, our homes are not just Energy Star Rated or Energy Star Qualified.  Our clients receive an Energy Star Certification on their home.  This is truly something different.  By Certifying our homes we guarantee lower Energy bills and do not simply tell you to trust us that your home will perform well, we put it in writing!  The truth is that this standard is very hard to achieve through increased inspections, quality assurance, and building to a whole newer level.  That level is Energy Star Certified 3.0 2012.
